The Sponsors of Mass Save® are announcing the following updates:

1. Small Duct High Velocity Heat Pumps
Rebate eligibility criteria for 2023 has been finalized. Eligible residential and commercial customers can claim rebates on qualified small duct high velocity heat pumps once an installation has been completed. As a reminder, a complete list of heat pumps eligible for rebates can be found at MassSave.com/HPQPL.

*HCR stands for Heating Capacity Ratio which is calculated based on the heating capacity AHRI rating at 17°F divided by the rating at 47°F.
**Heating Capacity based on the heating capacity AHRI rating at 5°F divided by the rating at 47°F.

2. Packaged Terminal Heat Pumps
Effective May 1, 2023, qualified high efficiency Packaged Terminal Heat Pumps are eligible for instant incentives through the Commercial & Industrial Midstream HVAC Program. Equipment must be sold for installation at a facility in Massachusetts that pays a commercial rate for electricity through one of the Sponsors (Cape Light Compact, Eversource, National Grid, or Unitil) and must not already be receiving incentives through another program.

*This amount must be applied as a discount off the total purchase price to the purchaser with a line item on the sales invoice. Instant discount is expected to be passed down to the end-use customer.
